How does self storage work?
Self storage is a service that offers individual, secure units for both commercial and personal customers. Each unit is individually alarmed and can only be accessed by you for maximum security.
What can I store?
You can store almost anything, unless it is flammable, hazardous, perishable or illegal.
How much does self storage cost?
Our unit prices vary depending on the amount of space you require, so contact us today for a quote.
How long can I hire a storage unit?
Our minimum rental term is from one calendar month with no current limit on a maximum term, short term rentals may be possible through prior agreement.
Where can I find K2S?
Our storage facility is based in Erdington, Birmingham. It is located just off the Kingsbury Road (A38).
How secure is the storage?
Key 2 Space has been built with security as one of it’s core elements, from a fob and pin entry system to individual alarmed units, CCTV operating internally and externally, fully monitored fire and intruder alarm systems
When can I access my storage unit?
Our normal opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00 am till 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am till 3:00 pm.
Do I have to reserve a unit?
Reservation is not necessary, but it is recommended if you are looking to rent a specific unit by size or location.
How soon can I move in?
As soon as your ID is verified, our licence agreement is signed and your initial payment has been taken, you can occupy your unit.
Do I have to sign a lease?
No, all units are rented out under an approved Licence Agreement.
How much notice do I have to give before I have to leave?
In order to protect your security deposit we require a minimum of 7 days written notice
Can you help with packaging my items?
Unfortunately this is not a service we are able to offer.
Are my items covered in storage?
We are able to offer protection of your items under our StoreProtect policy, this is however, subject to acceptance of a contents declaration and our terms and conditions. Alternatively you can provide your own contents cover.
Do you provide storage boxes?
We supply a comprehensive range of packaging materials, please enquire for further information.
